The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) does not allow the use of stabilized sanitizers such as trichlor and dichlor for shocking a pool after a fecal accident (Model Aquatic Health Code (MAHC) 6.5). Pulsar® Infinity non stabilized tablets do not contain cyanuric acid which slows down the kill rate of chlorine for pathogens such as Cryptosporidium.
